I was watching a Spanish video and they were trying to say, “She asked if I could bring a bottle of red wine.”

They said, “Ella pregunta que si lo puedo llevar un vino tito.”

Why wouldn’t it be, “Ella pregunta si puedo llevarle un vino tito.”

Because the question before that was, “Puedes traerme un vino tinto?”
